THE HEIR+LOOM FOUNDATION
The Heir+Loom Foundation offers enriching and educational opportunities in a natural, historic space by resourcing Hester Farms and similar entities that support the empowerment of underserved populations.
WHO WE ARE
In The Republic, Plato argued, "Our need will be the real creator," which leads to the familiar adage, "Necessity is the Mother of Invention."
If these two statements ring true, then Heir+Loom was born of many necessities and many mothers:
* The need to connect spirit to earth,
* The need to fulfill a promise to our ancestors and ancestral land,
*The need to be become more active stewards of God's earth,
* The need to connect with community, and
* The need to build a legacy.

The Heir+Loom Foundation exists to resource land inherited by families of color as a means to cultivate community gardens, offer enriching learning opportunities for underserved groups and live out a profitable and lasting legacy for generations to come.

CREATION CARE THEOLOGY
Musings on the intimate relationship between
God and Ground, Lord and Land, Savior and Soil.
I dreamed I saw a land. And on the hills walked brave women and brave men, hand in hand. And they looked into each other's eyes, and they were not afraid.

And I saw the women also hold each other's hands.
And I said to him beside me, "What place is this?"
And he said, "This is heaven."
And I said, "Where is it?"
And he answered, "On earth."
And I said, "When shall these things be?"
And he answered, "In the Future."
